Can girls go for mechanical in iit?

i'm not from iit. but i'll suggest you to go in mechanical b'coz its more interesting than any other especially from computer. and more job opportunities too. its just a tradition that girls should not join m.e. due to heavy machinery work but if you hav interest and confidence you can do everything. and one more thing if you post a question again then please write full words , what you've written is too confusing
