Get rid of red tones in hair? ive dyed my hair numerous times but it continues to fade and go back to a red?

when i am in the sun/light my hair looks like this red/orange color but regularly looks pretty brown? idk what to do its everytime i dye my hair it fades to a weird red-brown color...
