Should cover songs be banned?

Perhaps...I'm with you 100% on no-talent bands getting cred by ripping off the talent of other artists altho on the flip side I'm glad to have been exposed to some of the classic blues tunes that Led Zeppelin covered (How Many More Times) or something like Nirvana getting some deserved exposure to the younger folks to David Bowie with their cover of "Man Who Sold the World"
