When a grl tells u day want 2 stay friends do day always mean it or do sum say it so u can try harder? Help?

Well that depends, some just say it in order to see if your willing to keep trying. They just want to see what your intententions are and if your going to be around for a while or not. But then again, some actually do mean it, it just depends on your situtation. How did she tell you, or when for what reason did she bring that up?
