Why do young kids these days have such bad musical taste?

most of the people you see online my age that listen to those songs are obsessed with our mass media society that my generation is being forced to grow up in. i myself like every type of music (more partial to the type of bands your relative listens to) but i CANNOT STAND the pop bull**** that my generation listens to. on behalf of my generation, i'm sincerely sorry.
